Learning works best when it’s fun and active. All our workshops do both. We offer everything from networking help to coaching help, and from improv LearningTheatre, to cross-generational experiences that improve our coping skills, our coaching skills and ways to get moving.
We offer experiences in four formats:
1. Improv LearningTheatre
Join us for hilarious laughs and poignant moments. You will join the action and create the laughs and the learning with us. Better than role-play, we’ll experience the issues together, and create solutions right in front of your eyes.

The Real Life and Times of Twentysomethings
We focus on the stress and struggles of this period in your life. Together we’ll validate your feelings, work through some coping strategies, and investigate ways to transition to the next period of your life after college. You’ll laugh, you’ll yelp, you’ll see the real deal and come away refreshed, with better questions to ask, some insights, and a step ahead of where you came in. Two hours, with an intermission. Option to add workshop time for half-day or full day experience.

Oh, We’re Working with Them!
We’ll put those cross-generational tensions and all the stereotypes that come with them right out in front where we can laugh at them together. And better yet, the laughter will lead us to discoveries about our common ground.
We share more in common than we think, and as a work team, we’ll explore those commonalities—from fear to partnership, and authority to collaboration—to have you walking out with a better understanding of your teammates, in spite of the stereotypes and biases, and even taking advantage of them. Two hours, with an intermission. Option to add workshop time for half-day or full day experience.
2. Out-of-the-ordinary Workshops
Expect fun. Expect practice. Expect results.
Our workshops are out of the ordinary, and for good reason−these are out of the ordinary times.
You need strategies to carry you through the quakes of economic faltering, surprising changes in the job market, and wacky new ways that people work together (like global teams working across time zones, “campfire” strategy sessions, incredible partnerships with people you’ve never met in person).

Take the Work out of Networking
OK, maybe not all the work. But stop avoiding this and thinking that just because the method is tried and true, it will just work for you. Not so. Problem is, like breathing, we think everybody can do it automatically. Well, again. Not so.
Networking is like learning to ride a bike. It doesn’t require Olympic level training, but it does require practice. And usually somebody is there guiding you on the first couple of runs.
We’ll guide you the same way. And talking about it doesn’t do the trick. You know from riding a bike that there’s no substitute for figuring out how to balance and peddle at the same time.
So we’ll help you find your balance and get some momentum. In this workshop, you’ll learn to find the right people to talk to and how to create groundbreaking conversations. Then we’ll show you how to network your way into some work, ranging from volunteer jobs to full time jobs. And we’ll play, and move, and have fun while we’re at it.
How to Launch Yourself
Self-discovery is great, but as a friend of ours says: “While the under-examined life may not be worth living, the over-examined life isn’t much to write home about either.” Sure, we’ll have you look at you, but more importantly, we show you how to get on the launch pad and make something happen, right there, in the workshop.
You’ll walk out with a plan, with experience under your belt, with feedback, and a concrete next step to take—and the confidence to take it. Half-day or full day workshop versions.
The Organization Workshop for College Students
Want to get a taste of the excitement of the workplace, along with the challenges to overcome? In this powerful one-day workshop, you will create a working organization, where some of you will be tops, some middles, and some bottoms and customers working to get your projects completed.
Experience some of that classic “thrill of victory, agony of defeat” stuff as it rolls out in the workplace. This is real stuff, and we will unwind after the simulation and talk about your expectations of the workplace, what you bring to change it, and what you’ll encounter when you try. One day workshop.

The Old Way Boomers vs. The Uppity Entitled GenYers (Target audience: managers)
You talkin’ to me? A Boomer doing it the “old” way? Hard to believe. Yet for twentysomethings in the workplace, it’s the truth. And GenYers as uppity? They don’t see it that way at all. This is where “Far out” faces “Sweeeeeet” head on.
In this workshop we’ll expose the stereotypes, discuss their roots in reality and fantasy, and how to break out of the stereotypes through teaming, discipline, coaching and listening. In particular, we’ll look at how to give and take feedback, not just for Boomers but for the GenXers that come between, who might also feel a little upstaged by this larger, more vocal demographic.
We’ll laugh at ourselves, we’ll play with new approaches, and you’ll come away with some practice under your belt, some validation that you’re not alone in what you’re feeling, and some tactics to take advantage of the energy of GenYers. Half-day workshop.
Boomers vs. GenYers Take It on Together
The workshop described above can be offered to both generations together as a one-day workshop. The launch session runs in separate groups – twentysomethings working with a peer facilitator, and Boomers/GenXers working with a peer facilitator.
In the discussion session, the groups join together to discuss their learnings and build workplace teaming strategies that will improve everyday meetings and working teams. The discussions get hot, just hot enough to melt down the steel traps of generational differences. A fun and meaningful way to create some breakthroughs. Half-day or one-day workshop.
The Organization Workshop for Cross-Generational Workplaces
In this powerful one-day workshop, you will create a working organization, where some of you will be tops, some middles, and some bottoms and customers working to get your projects completed. You experience first hand the challenges of working as a team across the hierarchy of large organizations. By bringing managers and first-level employees—especially young employees—into the experience together, it will give you a chance to put the spotlight right on the tensions of bosses and workers as they all try to succeed in their projects.
The debrief discussion will center on the edginess that arises around respecting authority and doing what you’re told on the one hand, and challenging the status quo and trying to break down old barriers on the other hand. The goal is to create novel approaches to working in a crazy 21st Century workplace,. This is real work, real fun, and really meaningful conversations about creating teams that break through the ageism roadblocks.
For Parents and Mentors
Nobody Told Me About This Phase of Parenting
You thought adolescence was the last phase you had to manage as a parent? Well, welcome to the 21st Century and the world of twentysomethings and the next phase—Emerging Adulthood—where 30 is the new 20. In this workshop you’ll find out you’re not alone in wondering what’s happening, and you’ll learn practical skills to handle the yo-yo between reattachment and independence.
We’ll look at common scenarios, practice coaching skills and discuss the balancing act of support and distance. Sometimes you do have to love ‘em and leave ‘em. You’ll walk away with experience under your belt, a support system, and new advisory skills. 3 hours.
3. Customized Stuff
With twenty years experience, we have been successfully delivering custom learning experiences for corporations that fit their exact needs. You may want to do team building, or team re-direction to new work practices. We can help. From real-time strategy sessions (not plans that sit on shelves) to developing stronger team camaraderie for new challenges, we have the tool kit that combines discipline with fun and practical tactics.
Technology to the Rescue Teleseminars
Tap into teleseminars for small groups or special projects. We love doing customized work-sessions, and can bring you the same fun, movement and action steps in this environment. Call us to explore at 215-348-5969.
4. Speaking Engagements
Sometimes you just need a shot in the arm with an hour or so of ideas and strategies. We are highly skilled at keynote speaking, and tailor the experience to your audience. Susan Berg has spoken all over the world, and also now features her daughter Kirstin—a twentysomething herself—as a partner. So when you need the one-two punch of the mentor and the twentysomething in the trenches of transition, we make a dynamic team, able to laugh at ourselves and with you at the challenges of cross-generational partnership in the 21st Century.
